With the biggest win in two years in Creighton's rearview mirror, the Jays will try and avoid a letdown against Marquette. With an identical record to Creighton, the Golden Eagles still feel they are in the hunt for an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

Frankly, Marquette is very simple to describe. They have two talented big guys in Henry Ellenson and Luke Fischer, and while the outside shooting has improved as the season has gone on, the team still centers are the two bigs. Any team with thoughts of a win against Marquette needs to limit their touches and double the bigs when they get a chance. It's really that simple.

What you need to know: Even a team that shoots the ball as poorly as Marquette does from three is not going to go 1-for-21 so the Jays guards will need to be alert to get out to the perimeter after doubling down low. On the offensive end it will be interesting to see how Marquette tries to slow down and contain Mo Watson. A better shooting night from three will also but needed if the Jays want to leave Milwaukee with a victory.

What you don't need to know: It's Milwaukee so there is only one to to talk about.

BEER.

Milwaukee has always been known as the "Beer Capital of the World" as many of the major breweries at one time or another had their headquarters in Milwaukee. The only logical reasons for Milwaukee having that many more breweries than any other city is the available ice from Lake Michigan and the proximity to the large beer drinking population in Chicago.

The Miller brewing company is one of the few that still resides in Milwaukee. Several years ago Miller took over a small but popular brewery in Wisconsin known as Lenenkugel (if you ever get to Chippewa Falls, take the tour, it's a great experience). I have always liked most Miller products very much spanning from the tall glass bottles of Miller High Life (the champagne of bottled beers) to the familiar white Miller Lite can.

Some companies who were always associated with Milwaukee have long since gone. There was the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company known for Schlitz beer. This brings back fond memories of my youth when my Dad and his friends would pound down some ice cold Schlitz. When I became of age, I drank a few Schlitz and while it wasn't bad I always thought it had a very sharp and hoppy flavor.

Another company that has gone is the Pabst Brewing Company. I gotta admit, back in the day Pabst was one of the top flight beers in the U.S. and I really enjoyed an ice cold Pabst in its patriotic red, white and blue can.

But let's be honest here, the beer had to be pretty bad if I didn't drink it.

I wish we played more games against Marquette so I could write about beer some more.
